ANJA

Anja Helèn Fagerli (02.10.84) is a fresh upcoming artist originally from that special part of Norway known for the northern lights in the winter and midnight sun in the summer. ANJA left her home country to start her BA (hons) degree in performing arts music at the Paul McCartney School in Liverpool four years ago. Now she ready to break the UK music market before she is heading for the US.

ANJA has the ability to spellbind an audience with her soft and emotional voice, impressive dance moves and her magic stage presence. She has always been passionate about music and the world of entertainment. Her first real hero and inspiration is as for so many, The King of Pop, Michael Jackson. She remember getting her first MJ leather jacket when she was only eight and after school she could stand in front of the TV screen and imitate his moves for hours. She even started her own girl band when she was ten with two other girls who were twins, choreographed dances and wrote songs. Coming from a small town who offered a limited amount of opportunities for the younger generation, she grabbed hold of every chance she could get to perform and to feed the hunger of a dream so strong. Unafraid, passionate and confident, she focused on reaching her goal and she did not let anything get in the way. Coming from the country side where the majority of people went for a nine to five job, it took courage to stand out from the crowd. However, Anja continued believing in her dreams, moving one foot in front of another, and that have paid off.

ANJA is currently recording tracks with the very talented producer, songwriter and singer Ben Adams, known from the boy band A1. The tracks "Goodbye" and "What I said to you" has already gained massive interest in the music industry. She has also been recording tracks with several other people while in the UK, with Lemon soda Production Company being one of them. Lemon soda music has worked with some big names trough the years. The Foundations, Ray Charles, Paul McCartney, Queen, The BeeGees, Johnny Douglas and Donna Summer just to name a few. Anja has also been featured on several German TV stations and CNN international together with celebrity hairdresser Stuart Phillips. Stuart asked Anja to be the first solo artist to perform on the show. One of the shows was broadcasted to over 255 countries in September 2009. Anja an up and coming POP act heading for the top of the charts and she has many secrets yet to be discovered.
