Wednesday 17th of September, I did my first role/extra in a movie called "Swinging with the finkles". I arrived Pottersfields carpark at 7pm, not knowing anything about the movie and who the main actors were. The car-park was filled with trailers, one for crew, hair and make up, costume department, food and refreshments and so on. I realized then that this was no low budget movie. I was dressed up by the costume lady, and she sent me to hair and makeup where I met the main actors who to my big surprise was Martin Freeman, Mandy More and Melissa George. I was told that my role was to play the "hot woman" in a fancy restaurant, and i was like, ok, I could do that. The scene was taking place at Tate Gallery, but I think it was meant to look like Paris. For over 7 hours we filmed the exact same scene from different angles and with different lightning. This scene will probably only be around 8-10 minutes of the whole movie, with other words, its hard work! My role was to move across the floor while Martin Freeman was staring at me, commenting my attractiveness in front of his "girlfriend" Mandy Moore. It was a fun experience!
